Supplier Code of Conduct

  • Working with House of Influencer Marketing

House of Influencer Marketing ("we," "us," "our") is committed to maintaining the highest levels of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct across all our operations.

We believe that our Suppliers including service providers, distributors, vendors, and their respective subcontractors, employees, and agents ("Suppliers") must also uphold these standards.

This Supplier Code of Conduct (the "Code") applies to all Suppliers providing goods and services to House of Influencer Marketing. Compliance with this Code is mandatory and may exceed the minimum standards required by Indian law.

Suppliers are expected to educate their employees and subcontractors about this Code and implement equivalent ethical standards across their operations.

  • Applicability

This Code applies to:

  1. Supplier facilities, including manufacturing, distribution, and packaging facilities ("Facilities"); and

  2. Suppliers' suppliers, agents, and subcontractors, and their respective Facilities.

The Code is intended to establish minimum standards and does not replace any contractual or legal obligations that Suppliers owe to House of Influencer Marketing.

  • Slavery and Human Trafficking

Suppliers must not engage in any form of modern slavery, including:

  • Child labor

  • Bonded labor

  • Indentured labor

  • Forced labor

  • Prison labor

Suppliers must ensure full compliance with Indian labor laws, including the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 and the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976.

Compensation and Benefits

Suppliers must compensate workers in accordance with:

  • The Minimum Wages Act, 1948; and

  • All other applicable Indian labor laws.

This includes providing legally required benefits and overtime compensation.

Work Hours

Suppliers must not require or permit workers to work beyond the legal limits established by Indian labor laws regarding regular and overtime working hours.

No Discrimination, Abuse, or Harassment

Suppliers must not discriminate in hiring, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination, or retirement based on race, caste, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other status protected by Indian law.

Suppliers must treat all workers with dignity and respect and prohibit any form of abuse, harassment, or corporal punishment.

Supplier Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We encourage our Suppliers to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within their organizations, including the representation of women, minority groups, persons with disabilities, and other underrepresented groups.

Health and Safety

Suppliers must provide a safe, healthy, and sanitary working environment in compliance with Indian health and safety laws, including the:

  • Factories Act, 1948

  • Shops and Establishments Act

If Suppliers provide residential or dining facilities, these must also meet health and safety requirements.

Freedom of Association and Labor Rights

Suppliers must respect the rights of workers to freely associate, join trade unions, and engage in collective bargaining, in accordance with Indian labor laws.

Environmental Protection

Suppliers must comply with all applicable environmental laws in India, including the:

  • Environment Protection Act, 1986.

Suppliers should minimize adverse environmental impacts related to waste disposal, emissions, discharges, and the handling of hazardous materials.

Gifts, Entertainment, Anti-Bribery, and Anti-Corruption

Suppliers must not offer, promise, give, or accept any bribe, kickback, or other improper payment.

Suppliers must comply with the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and all applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws.

Gifts and entertainment must not influence, or appear to influence, business decisions.

Compliance with Laws

Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • Labor laws

  • Environmental laws

  • Anti-corruption laws

  • Data privacy laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Termination

Failure to comply with this Code may result in corrective actions, including suspension or immediate termination of the business relationship and any outstanding purchase orders or contracts.

Report Violations

Suppliers are encouraged to report any known or suspected violations of this Code in good faith.

Reports will be handled confidentially, and retaliation against individuals who report concerns will not be tolerated.
