Modern Slavery Statement
Modern Slavery Statement
A. Organisational Structure and Supply Chains
House of Influencer Marketing ("we", "us", "our") provides influencer marketing services to a wide range of brands and agencies.
Given the nature of our business, we do not maintain traditional supply chains involving physical goods; however, we recognize the importance of ethical practices across all aspects of our operations, including our engagements with vendors, contractors, partners, resellers, and suppliers.
We require all third parties with whom we engage to comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations, including the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976, the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986, and any other laws aimed at preventing modern slavery and human trafficking.
While we assess our risk to be low concerning slavery and human trafficking, we remain vigilant and committed to monitoring and addressing any potential risks.
B. Policies in Relation to Slavery and Human Trafficking
We expect all vendors, contractors, partners, and suppliers to comply fully with Indian labor laws and international conventions prohibiting slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, and child exploitation.
House of Influencer Marketing does not engage with any third party where we are aware of violations relating to modern slavery or human trafficking.
We require high ethical standards throughout our operations and supply relationships.
C. Due Diligence Processes
Our procurement processes involve a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.
While the services we procure are generally low-risk, we carefully vet vendors and suppliers through due diligence checks to assess and prevent any association with practices that could involve exploitation.
Our due diligence processes require all vendors and contractors to affirm compliance with applicable Indian labor and employment laws.
D. Training and Awareness
We have a dedicated procurement team trained to recognize and address potential risks related to forced labor, human trafficking, and child labor.
Training covers identifying red flags, risk assessment, and escalation processes.
Internal policies mandate that any suspected or actual instances of slavery, trafficking, or exploitation within our operations or supply chains must be immediately reported to senior management, including reporting directly to the General Counsel for prompt investigation and resolution.
E. Next Steps / Looking Ahead
House of Influencer Marketing is committed to continuously assessing and mitigating risks associated with modern slavery and human trafficking.
Future initiatives include:
Periodic reviews of vendor and contractor agreements.
Strengthening our due diligence framework.
Monitoring legislative developments, including the anticipated Trafficking in Persons (Prevention, Care and Rehabilitation) Bill.
We are committed to maintaining transparent and ethical practices across our entire operational ecosystem.
F. Approval
This Statement has been adopted and approved by the Board of Directors of House of Influencer Marketing.
It is made in accordance with applicable Indian laws relating to modern slavery, human trafficking, and forced labor and covers the financial year ending March 31, 2024.
