We encourage security research but ask that all activities comply with the following guidelines:
Only test using accounts you own or are authorized to use.
Do not intentionally access, modify, or destroy data that does not belong to you.
Do not conduct Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks or stress tests.
Do not send unsolicited communications (spam).
No social engineering, phishing, vishing, smishing, or other deceptive practices.
Do not upload malware, viruses, or harmful software.
Do not test third-party applications or integrations not owned by House of Influencer Marketing.
Do not conduct any physical security tests (e.g., on offices, data centers).
No research by minors, sanctioned individuals, or residents of sanctioned countries.
All testing must comply with Indian laws, including:
Section 43 (Compensation for failure to protect data)
Section 66 (Punishment for hacking)
Section 72 (Breach of confidentiality and privacy) of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000.
Compliance with Indian Cyber Laws
House of Influencer Marketing operates in full compliance with Indian laws and regulations. Researchers must also comply with:
Information Technology Act, 2000, including Sections 43, 66, and 72.
Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Unauthorized access or malicious activity may result in civil and criminal liability.
Safe Harbor
We will not initiate legal action against researchers who:
Act in good faith.
Adhere strictly to this Responsible Disclosure Policy.
Avoid privacy violations, destruction of data, or service disruption.
Rewards/Compensation
You may be eligible for a reward if:
You are the first to report a validated vulnerability.
The vulnerability is accepted as significant by our Security Team.
You comply fully with this policy.
Rewards are discretionary and subject to our evaluation through the Bug Bounty Program. No guarantee of compensation is made.
Legal Compliance and Penalties
Unauthorized actions such as hacking, data theft, or breaching confidentiality may attract:
Civil penalties under Section 43 of the IT Act.
Criminal penalties under Section 66 and Section 72 of the IT Act.
We reserve the right to take legal action for violations.
Consumer Protection
If you are a consumer:
You may withdraw from any service contract within 14 days of purchase, unless otherwise specified.
You have the right to seek redressal through grievance mechanisms under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
